What‘s new in One UI 7:
The most prominent alteration is the revamped Quick Panel. Which is now divided into distinct sections for notifications and quick settings. However, users still have the option to combine these sections as in previous versions. Notably, individuals can now personalize the arrangement of different quick setting toggles and sliders according to their preferences.
The lock screen is undergoing significant changes in addition to the enhancements in the Quick Panel. Users will gain increased flexibility regarding the clock’s placement. They will have the option to incorporate mini widgets for swift access to information.
Furthermore, a new pill-shaped feature has been introduced at the bottom. Which includes the emergency call button and a charging animation.
Alongside these changes, subtle design modifications are also expected. The video indicates that Samsung will redesign first-party app icons, including those for Camera, Contacts, and Gallery.
Current widgets for Battery, Device Care, and Weather seem to have undergone a visual update, and new widgets, including Images, Stories, and Secure Wi-Fi, are also visible.
Additionally, notifications will now be displayed in a larger format with a pill-shaped design, enhanced by a more pronounced background blur effect.
